Plånboken

I was listening to a radio show, on the Swedish radio.
Plånboken.

It was regarding receipts, that today you can get electronic receipts instead of a paper one.
The only thing you need to do is to sign up on a web site, tell your email or phone number.
Then you will get a personal number, this one you will tell everytime you shop and voila!
you have the receipt in your mailbox or as an sms.

Good, as you now never will loose any, which can be good in cases of returning shoes, etc etc.

BUT

In sweden we have a law, authorizes the state to warrantlessly wiretap all telephone and Internet traffic that crosses Sweden's borders. And as most of the internet traffic is on international servers. Most of the traffic is taped.

So, not only can they read our emails, they can also now see what we buy, when we buy it and for how much we bought it.
If we used cash or card and also the credit/debit card number.

Isn't that fantastic that people have this information about you?

Sweden is watching me...
