Internatinonal market part 2

Yesterday I had the international market, just like a flee market actually.. I was there, to sell some second hand clothes, and some things we had at home. Also some small clothes I had done, and the pillows.

We're really lucky with weather. Was warm and sunny.
The car sellers where all placed in the center and the sun.

While we where here, in the shadow my the walls, behind the cars. Which made many people miss us. So that was really bad organized.
Will write them a letter and tell them, that this was not a good place to have us.

My "stand". I learned tons yesterday actually. How to put a "stand" what to highlight, so people stop. For a first time, it was a success. Handed out many personal cards, for people to hire me for alterations etc.

So mostly just positive.
Now I just need to find more places to be selling in!

proud as a peacook...

Don't know if that is the right saying in english.
In swedish it is like that.
And I was the other day. I went to doctor with my little girl to take the 18 month shot.
When we was there, the doctor commented that she is very big.  That she is more like, minimum 2 years old. Both in body and mind.

I turned so proud. I really felt like a peacook looks like, when he want to impress the ladys.
All big and fluffed up.

So here comes something rather unusual.

Month ago, here in the house.

Tried to get a better shot of the dress I made her. But was pretty hard.

Not very smart

to go out and run, when there is no water in the house.
And who did that? Me of course.
And that isn't very nice. A day when the water was off all day...

What was more pleasant, when I was able to,  was to wash my hair with my new scahmpoo.

Looks like a soap, but it's really a schampoo.
And it's suposed to be "natural" one.
I think it's a lovely one. Gives the hair a new nicer feeling.

From Lush. Check it out! I truly recomend this one!

Jewlery box, part 2

So it looked like I couldn't really let go of the idea of the jewelry storage.
I just felt that being 26 and have the "jewlery" in a box in the toilet just didn't do it.

So here is the second try:

Had two paper boxes.

So I cut them and glued them together.

I glued on a fabric vadding. Only for the reason that I liked it.

I covered this vadding with black fabric.

But the glue did show some, as you can see. So covered it with this red ribbon.

And voila! Here is the  jewlery box. Better then the first one, that is for sure. This one I can use, which was impossible with the other one.

And the next one will be even better!

International market

So, this saturday from 10-15 there is a international market.
(Or lets say more organized flee market.)
I will be there and sell things. Both old and new.

everyone that has time, stop by!

Working out

Today was the first time this year that I was out and running "my" track.
It didn't went super good, but much better then I had expected.
Later in the evening I went to swim. I really need to meet with a teacher, as I feel that my technique has degenerated.

On the way home, it hit me I have been reagulary working out now, for the last half year.
Every week I have been doing something.
I haven't lost tons of weight, but some. Slowly it goes the right way.
And this is, even if it sounds very bad, the longest I have, regualry worked out. Usually I stop after two month or so.

I'm very glad about this. It gave me an extra push, to do it half year more. And after that, I can actually call me a work out girl!

:)

Jewlery box

Our flat is small, and there is not alot of storage space or space for drawers or shelfs.
For this reason, my "jewlery" has been lying in a wodden box in the bathroom, with the result that I only wear the same stuff.
The stuff I never put back.
So today I was going to change that.
How?
with this:

This is an old drawer, that feel apart. So been standing now in the hallway, waitin g for a container to come to the neiberhood.
So thought That I could use this, as my material.

I measured and measured and draw lines and measured again.
Lucky me that own a saw!

And here is where I don't understand what happened. With all this measuring, and drawing lines and all. How could this happen?

THIS IS THE RESULT!

I'm no the best in taking pictures, but here I haven't failed.
Because it looked worse in reality.
So I made something terrible, look kinda ok.

Awfulo, awful. Just totally awful.
It went back in the trash. I didn't wait for a container day with this. I just went straight down and through it away.

Not to much done

I haven't really had any time, to sew anything for my own lately.
Have been very hectic last weeks. Family visiting, child playing, and sewing and sewing.
But only for others, been loads of things to do, and been occupied almost every nights with something. Which is very fun as well. As long as I do have some sewing, I am satisfied.

And now so finally, today I started on a small little dress for my girl. will need to get some new elastic laze tomorrow and is should be set.

Lets see if I can manage it, and show you all! :)

Water colors

I bought some water colors the other day. For me and my little girl to have and paint with.

So the first time painter!

Nice result right?

Just a pity I couldn´t get a better photo of her, the clothes all covered in paint.
