Organizing

With no sewing machine to use, I have had time for other things that been on my mid for such a long time. 

Organize!

Finally!

My sewing stuff are all in place and now people can actually enter the room.

And what about all the cards you get?

Most often they are either put in a box and never looked at again, or just trown away. 

Lets use them, and show appreciation to the people that gave them.

And still so much things to do...

FLOWERS!!

I redid some cloths I had lying around at home. 

And as the sewing machine is broken, I finally had the time to finnish things I started some time ago. 

All I needed was glue and some stiched by hand. 

And I love it much, and big. 

What is the idea, if you don't go for it all in!

This is a sweater I bought second hand, was for a festival. 

Think it's an army sweater. 

Just some banana from the little girl...

 A blouse I bought when being pregnant. And as nothing fun fitted me I glue on the flowers. 

And today I finally sewed on the pearls in the middle of the flowers.

The flowers are just glued on with a pearl in the middle.

They are all the same type. But the flowers do have some different construction with the flowers.

Cradle cap

My little girl had Cradle cap.

It's a yellowish, crusty, skin rash in the sculp. 

So many people told me that I just HAD to get rid of it. 

There where some special schampoos' or cream treatments to buy. 

Because I just couldn't leave her head like that. 

Now the little girl is nine month old. 

And as time went by, so did the rash as well. 

Without schampoos' or creams with chemicals. 

Just used some olive oil once in a while and massaged it in to the scalp. 

For everytime we find a way, without chemicals we do win. 

 The baby that doesn't get strange products in to it's body. 

The eniviroment that will be the one that have to take care of the waist. 

And us, that can maybe live in a healthier world. 

Saving the planet, or trying something at least

I just put on the washing machine. 

I need to was little R´s diapers. 

YES DIAPERS!

I DO USE WASHBLE DIAPERS

Why?

simple;

In sweden it is around 300000 children betwen ages 0-3. 

These babies use 10 diapers aday, that is 

3 000 000 

diapers aday.

Take this time 365.

1095 000 000.

In sweden only. 

I think that should say it all...

Made before melt down

How the purple dress are getting on. 

Planned to have it finnished today. 

But as my sewing maschine died I can not finnish.

Who knows when it will be done now.. 

maschine is broken!

I don´t know what to do!

I was sitting, trying to do some sewing, when a screw just drops in my hands. 

Have no idea where it s supposed to be...

And now the maschine is making very bad sounds. 

I know that a maintenece of it, should have been done already. 

And trying to make zig zag are impossible. 

So have no maschine. 

Anyone knowing where I could get a fix of my Husqvarna 2000 in Prague?

Cutting down carbs

Lunch time is here, and as I am cutting down the carbs. 

But what to have then?!?!

Creamed redcabbage!

Red cabbage:

Energi: 26 kcal

Carbohydrates: 4,2g

Fibrer: 1,9g

Protein: 1,4g

Fet: 0,3g

 vitamin-k

vitamin-c, B6, potassium (kalium) and calcium 

Yes I did add some oil, and flour and milk to make the cream. 

But I do still think it is better then alot of carbs that are just "empty"

Blouse!

I made a new blouse!

have had the fabric for ages, but haven´t know what to do with it. 

As we´re going to Bolivia this fall, there will be just summer for us this year. 

So need some summer blouses, so did this one for the trip

So some new summer blouse, was made there!

Living room

Our living room is actuallt making progress. 

Tomorrow I will get the fabric for the sofa, and have it sewed during weekend. 

(Hopefully)

Then I will show you all, how nice out home actually turned out.

Used some really funny things to make it nice!

New sewing project!

Have these two pieces of clothes.

A dress that I never used, and a skirt I used many many years ago. 

So was thinking of doing something with them, so I will actually use it.

I am apart of a community, a travel community. 

 I offer my couch  for free, for other people that are apart in this community. 

So these girl send me a request to stay in my place, and I thought they sounded nice and accepted it. 

they came wednesday and staying until tomorrow. 

So why am I apart for this?

Free space to live for me!

And also, because I get the opportunity to meet so many people. 

I get to know so much from them. 

I get to see that there is so much beautiful people. 

And I do belive that we all can change the world. If we delete bounderies between people, we can learn that we are all the same. 

Everything I do is for sale.....

The clothes I am sewing, restyling or fixing, can almost all be bought.

I Love the things I am doing, and I want to share it with people. 

I would love to see some more induviduality to how people dress. 

or to how their homes are styled. 

I know that IKEA is cheap, I have stuff from there as well. 

But mix it with some old stuff you found in the container!

Jazz festival part2

Just been back, from lunch with S. Had our friend L Aswell. 

Was Very nice to see her again.

No, no.. I am leaving home, out to the gorgeous weather and look what the jazzfestival can show us. 

Isn't lovely with summer. All these fun things happen.

Some days ago, I asked S, why he never use the living. 

We have more rooms then kitchen and bed. 

He apparently doesn't like it. 

Sad at the begingin, that our home isn't good. But I fast changed my sadness to understanding, after seeing these pictures.

How sad doesn't this look!?

so the mission for the near future is do remodolate this sofa, really needs it.
